“After discovering an urban legend of a demented serial killer, who has nothing but a carved ‘smiley’ on his face, a mentally fragile teen must decide whether she is going insane – or will be the next victim.”
Well I never found out if she was the next victim or not because Ashley (Caitlin Gerard), along with the rest of the cast of 2 dimensional stereotypical teens in this film, was so hatefully dull and annoying I had to turn this film off before the end. Dear reader I tried, but after 45 minutes of hokey dialogue (poorly delivered), thin plot and frankly not enough killing I decided the repeat of celebrity masterchef was more appealing.
I actually felt myself blushing at the awfulness of the script and the “monster” of the title, Smiley, looked like a scabby knee.
So with no redeeming features (not even a load of tits for the teenage boys amongst you) and unless you find scabby knees particularly scary, just don’t bother, just don’t.
