Ruby Sparks OST
The story of Ruby Sparks (written by Zoe Kazan who plays the eponymous heroine) is about a novelist struggling with writer’s block who finds romance in a most unusual way: by creating a female character he thinks will love him, then willing her into existence.
With an original score by Nick Urata, a composer making a name for himself in Hollywood, this soundtrack is mostly an orchestral affair. Continue reading

Little Birds was Elgin James’ first screenplay and it was accepted into both the Sundance Screenwriters Lab and the Sundance Directors Lab. In 2009, James was awarded a Time Warner Fellowship Grant as well as an Annenberg Feature Film Fellow Grant. He was recently named as one of Ioncinema.com’s “American New Wave 25”, in addition to being selected as one of Variety’s 2011 “Directors to Watch.” Continue reading

Directed by Jamie Travis and penned by Katie Anne Naylon and one of the co-stars Lauren Miller this film apparently went down a storm at Sundance this year.
